Welcome to Dacula Baseball

Dacula Baseball plays according to modified Dixie Youth Baseball rules and regulations. For additional information you are encouraged to visit the Dixie Youth Baseball website and read the Baseball Handbook.

We offer both a Spring and a Fall Baseball program. Sign-ups for the Spring season usually begin around the second week of January and generally runs for two weekends, depending on the turnnout. Practice will normally start in February and the opening day of the Spring season is in March. The Spring season runs through the end of May. The Fall sign-ups begin during the last week of July and the first Fall game usually takes place right after Labor Day. The Fall season runs through October.

We also offer a Travel Baseball program for ages 9 and up. These teams are picked from tryouts usually held November for the following year. These Travel teams represent Dacula at various venues in the Southeast.

• Online Registration Closes Jan. 31st
• Evaluations Sat., Feb. 4th - Times/Field Locations TBA
• Shop Day at Dick’s Sporting Goods – Sunday, Feb. 5^th from 2-5pm
• Drafts to be completed by Monday, Feb. 6^th – should hear from your coach sometime the week of the 6^th
• Practices start Wed., Feb. 8^th
• Team Mom Meeting – Monday Feb. 13^th  - Location:  Pool Building at Dacula Park – Time: 6:30pm
• Sat., Feb. 18^th Coaches Clinic
• Opening Day – Sat., Feb. 25^th
• Pictures – Sat., March 3^rd

The League Age Chart is based on your childs age as of 4/30/12:

• Pre T - Ages 3 & 4 - 5/1/07 to 4/30/09
• T Ball - Ages 5 & 6 - 5/1/05 to 4/30/07
• PeeWee - Ages 7 & 8 - 5/1/03 to 4/30/05
• Minor - Ages 9 & 10 - 5/1/01 to 4/30/03
• Major - Ages 11 & 12 - 5/1/99 to 4/30/01
• Pony - Ages 13 & 14 - 5/1/97 to 4/30/99
• Senior - Ages 15 to 18 - 5/1/92 to 4/30/97

Equipment Needed:

Dacula provides as part of registration a jersey, pants, belt, socks and hat. You must provide a helmet, glove, bat and cleats.

Evaluations

Evaluations will be held February 4th at Dacula Park. If you are unable to attend evaluations your child will still be placed on a team. Times and field locations vary depending on your age group. You can refer to the Field Location map under the Parent section of the website for your fields location in the park.
