Welcome to Dacula Basketball

Dacula Basketball operates a program for both boys and girls. Games are played at various gyms in the Dacula School Cluster. It is important to know that we have to rent these gyms from the Board of Education and these rental fees make up a large portion of the registration cost.

Currently we are only offering a Winter season program. Sign-ups usually begin in September. Practice will normally start in November and opening day is in December. The Basketball season runs through February.

We also offer a Travel Basketball called Dacula Elite Falcon Force. Falcon Force fields teams at the 5th, 6th and 7th grade levels to compete as part of the highly competitive Gwinnett Basketball League (GBL). These teams are selected through tryouts and are offered to both boys and girls.

Registration is now open online and will close on November 2nd at 2pm. You may register online or come to one of three Walk-up Registrations

Each player will receive a jersey, shorts and 1 ticket to DAA night (Date of Game TBD)

WE WILL HAVE TWO WALK- UP REGISTRATIONS WHERE PAYMENT PLANS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE. FIRST WALK UP REGISTRATION SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FOOTBALL GATE ENTRANCE FROM 1-3PM.

SECOND REGISTRATION FOR PAYMENT PLANS WILL BE ON OCTOBER 4TH, 1-3PM. SAME TIME AND LOCATION AS THE FIRST REGISTRATION.

THE LAST WALK UP REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT DACULA HIGH SCHOOL COMMONS AREA
ON OCTOBER 18th 1-3PM.

Basketball Registration Cost –

Registration will be $170 plus $30 fundraiser.

(Includes game uniform)
Multi Player Discount Offered: $20 off for 2nd child and $40 off for 3rd or more
Early bird discount of $20.00 given to those who register before September 30th. Note if payment plan option is selected the early bird discount will not be given.

A $25 late fee will be added to registrations after November 2nd if spots are available.

Basketball Payment Plans:

DAA uses an ARB for all payment plans. There is a $25.00 processing fee added to all payment plans to cover the cost of setting them up through the ARB system. Please note that ALL payment plans MUST be paid in full by November 8th.

Fundraiser:
The fundraiser this year is a gas card raffle. Each player will be required to pay the $30 during registration. An e-mail will be sent out once raffle tickets are in. It should be not later than second walk-up registration. You will sell 30 raffle tickets for $1 each, which will recoup your investment if you sell all 30 tickets. The raffle will take place on December 13th at Dacula Elementary Gym. We will draw 15 names and each person will win a $50 Kroger Card or Visa Gift Card. For 2 or more children, each additional player will be a $15 fundraiser.

Fittings:
Fittings will be done at each of the walk up registrations. Please note: It is very important that you attend at least one of the fittings. If you order your child(s) wrong size, you will be responsible for purchasing the new uniform.

Skill Evaluations:
All players in the leagues will be evaluated and placed on a team, it is required that players attend their age group skill evaluation. The goal is to provide the most balanced and competitive set of teams possible in all leagues. To accomplish that goal, all players must attend and be assessed so that we can evenly distribute players of each skill level across all teams. Players not attending the skill evaluation will negatively impact the talent and experience mix on their team.

Practices / Games:
Teams will typically have an average of 2 practices per week prior to the start of the season. After the season begins, teams will usually have one practice per week.  Note that this is dependent upon the availability of the facilities.

Volunteers/Coaches:
Dacula Basketball Program is completely staffed by volunteers. If you are interested in being a Coach, Assistant Coach, or Association Board Member please fill out a coach's application.
