6th Annual Dacula Falcon Fall Classic
November 14 - 16, 2008

 

An event open to 2008 Fall Recreational Softball Teams in Gwinnett, Barrow and Walton Counties. This tournament allows players of all levels the experience of tournament play! Travel teams associated with any of the parks are not permitted to play in this tournament.

If your team roster drops below 10 players, a team may add 1 additional non-pitching/noncatching player to their tournament roster from their fall recreation rosters. If all teams in the same league (6U, 8U, etc.) from your fall recreation season are participating in the FFC, you can pull 1 player from your parks 2008 spring recreation rosters. This player cannot have participated on any travel team. She must be a true recreational player.

A team’s fall roster along with the tournament roster must be submitted and approved by the respective softball directors in each association. League Directors must provide proof of insurance before any team from their respective parks can participate in their first game. Dacula Athletic Association does not provide insurance for non DAA teams.

Sunday, November 16

Game times: will start at 6:30pm on Friday, November 14th.

Locations: Dacula Park, Dacula High School & Hebron Baptist Church

Format: Double Elimination (2008 Tri-County Rules with some exceptions)

Awards: Team Awards for 1st and 2nd Place

Player Eligibility: Birthday as of 1/1/2008

Entry Fee:
6U & 8U: $110.00 (includes umpire fees for 1st two games)
$35.00 per game for games 3 and further for umpire fees

10U, 12U, 14U & 17U: $130.00 (includes umpire fees for 1st two games)
$45.00 per game for games 3 and further for umpire fees

Entry Deadline: Friday, October 31, 2008 (No Exceptions)
Reserved slots will be granted on a first come first serve basis. DAA reserves the right to limit the number of teams per age group due to field space limitations.

DAA will not be supplying game balls.

Cooler Policy:
Please limit coolers to one per team. DAA does not charge gate fees to help off
set the cost of running this tournament. In order to keep team fees as low as possible, we request
that you support the concession stand and vendors at the park.
