Welcome to the DAA registration page. We will keep information posted about registration dates and times along with a link, so you can register online. You will also be able to register as a coach or any other volunteer using the online registration form.
For online registration, we accept the following major credit cards (VISA and Mastercard ONLY) and debit cards. Checks are not accepted online. However, you may pay with check or cash if you register in person at Dacula High School computer labs.
For those people who do not have access to the Internet or those that prefer to come to the high school to register, we have moved locations. Instead of using the commons area as we have done in the past, we will now be using the two high school computer labs for registration. Enter the school as you have always done (in the commons area) and follow the signs to the labs. Even though you will pay us directly, using check or cash, you will sit down at a computer and enter their information directly into the same database that the online registrants use. We will have people there to assist those that may need help with using the computer and to answer any questions you may have.
This registration system provides many benefits for us as an Association.
1. Money is deposited in the bank within 72 hours. We will have very detailed records regarding the monetary transactions.
2. All data will be made available instantly to our sports directors. No longer will they have to get people to key in data from the paper forms, which could take up to two weeks to process.
3. The creation of tryout lists, formation of teams, online registration of coaches and volunteers and the management of data, will now be available to everyone that needs it. All data is secure and only those with a valid name and password will have access. One example, you can imagine trying to sort through 1000 registrations to determine what size clothes need to be ordered. With this system, it takes a matter of seconds to know.
4. This system allows for an email tree. The Executive Board could send out a broadcast message to all sports, a single sport, or even a single age group within a sport while sports directors could send one to just their sport, their coaches or team moms, a single age group, or their league directors. As you can see, there is a lot of flexibility in how this can work.
5. Overall, it reduces the amount of work and time that all of our volunteers have to spend in managing our program. We have grown so large so quickly that something had to be done to reduce the workload on these people and to help us get a handle on the information that we have to process and track.
We hope that everyone will take advantage of this service. We saw a 50% online sign-up percentage the first time and expect that to increase with every registration. If you have any questions, please post them on the message board or send an email to a board member and we will get them answered.
